Singer Songwriter guitarist Cathy Grier, is a former NYC busker aka NYCsubwaygirl, who found her way to Sturgeon Bay, WI in 2016. And the place where a songwriting collaborative meets three times a year in a retro Motel. Attracted to the Blues scene and it’s storied history born in Wisconsin, (see History of the Blues and Paramount Records), Cathy Grier formed a band of Wisco’s top blues musicians appropriately naming them “The Troublemakers.” Recorded I’m All Burn, in Milwaukee with Steve Hamilton of Makin’ Sausage Music, a WAMI award winning producer and engineer, (The Jimmy’s, Randall Bramblett, Martin Barre, Greg Koch, Bryan Lee). Cathy has performed at Summerfest and in Memphis in the International Blues Challenge as the winner of the Paramount Music Association in Port Washington, WI as Solo Artist and People's Choice winner. While the album I’m all Burn was stuck in the studio unmixed and mastered due to COVID-19 shutdown, Cathy sang and danced to the unmixed tracks, videoed her way through the album, which you can find on her youtube channel. She is thrilled to finally have the album released.
